He has served five tours in Afghanistan, and the last time he was there Corporal Ben Roberts-Smith received the highest military award for bravery, the Victoria Cross.

Here is a national hero, received by The Queen - SAS Corporal Ben Roberts -Smith - ready to give his life for his country. He is in the tradition of the greatest Australians.
