TOur first celebration of Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee will be in Sydney on Friday, 3 February at Parliament House, Macquarie Street Sydney.

This is  to mark the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty's accession to the throne on 6 February 1952.

Our keynote speaker is well-known to supporters of ACM and and as a legal and constitutional expert, to the general public.  She is Professor Ann Twomey, one of the leading authorities in Australia and the world in relation to matters concerning the Australian Crown.

Professor Twomey has spoken on several occasions to ACM, and on a number of matters.  In particular she has addressed the issues concerning the 1986 Australia Acts, and the fascinating relationship between the Australian states and the Crown. She has also spoken on possible changes to the succession, and on hung parliaments.

Her address on this occasion will  be particularly appropriate.  She will be speaking with particular reference to the  momentous changes agreed recently in Perth between the sixteen Realms  concerning the succession to the Throne.
